WALK a Mile for Pete
The first “Walk A Mile” campaign was held in October 2002. The program was designed to give people across the country an opportunity to support cerebral palsy research right from their own doorsteps. It offers a simple activity, some thoughtful incite, and a chance to reach out to all those who experience movement disorders as a result of cerebral palsy.
YOU are invited to participate!
WALK A MILE for Pete this October!
You will be walking for Pete, for Emily, for Neal, for Addy, for Nathan, for Sarah Jane, for Marjorie, for Gabby, and for thousands of others…
During the month of October we ask you, as a friend of Pedal-with-Pete, to “walk a mile” for Pete and for all those who are unable to walk due to CP. Walk in your neighborhood, at your local park, at your fitness center—wherever you choose. You may walk with your family, your friends, by yourself—or walk your dog! Consider how easily you walk, how much we all take walking for granted. Then, in gratitude for your ability to walk, consider giving a gift to CP Research so that those with CP might someday have the opportunity to walk when and where they choose.
Send your gifts of gratitude to Pedal-with-Pete, PO Box 274, Kent, OH 44240
